The Big Bang

The known scientific facts fit together to create the "Big Bang theory". But in fact, the standard scientific theory can only work in tracing the origins of the universe back to a point just after the origin, known as the Planck Boundary. This is the point where the whole concept-structure of standard physics breaks down. This is a well recognised fact.

What happens in the IIP-VGF framework applied to standard scientific cosmology, is that the Planck boundary becomes the point at which spacetime appears, rather than presuming spacetime must begin at the origin, which is the unverifiable assumption made by standard science. In VGF terms, spacetime is in fact the first great permanently stable closure, in the infinite iteration, at the end of the first great stabilisation cascade of closures in the VGF. The VGF does not replace the standard science. It explains why the science fails at the Planck boundary.

In other words, going "backwards" towards the origin, beyond the Planck boundary, there is no time or space or spacetime, just as, in fact, there isn't in the actual standard theory in so far as it holds together. "Inside" the Planck boundary, in VGF terms, is iterative generativity that has not yet stabilised into the closure that is dimension and spacetime.

What physics calls "energy" is then a property of invariance that arises from this spacetime closure, through which the stabilisation cascade is able to continue on to produce matter and quantum fields and so on.

In the IIP-VGF framework the expansion of the universe from the Planck boundary in standard scientific cosmology, is all about spacetime stability, as a closure in the VGF. The rate of expansion of the universe is exactly what is necessary in order for the spacetime closure to have the stability to enable ongoing open iteration and stabilisation cascades to continue within it.

So how does this work itself out such that everything that evolves in spacetime is adapted to the expansion of spacetime, whose rate of expansion is just what is needed to allow it all to arise?

The answer is actually very simple. It is simply survival of the fittest. Except that in this case we are not talking about the species, we are talking about attractors in the attractor landscape of the VGF.
